This trapezoid pendant is crafted from natural yew wood sourced from a wood turning supplier’s collection of offcuts, giving new purpose to quality hardwood that would otherwise go unused. Each piece retains the character of the original wood, with natural grain variation making every pendant unique.
The front of the pendant features an all-over layered ammonite inspired design, laser printed into the surface to create a detailed fossil-style pattern. The contrast between ancient woodland material and the imagery of prehistoric life creates a piece that connects two different stories from Earth’s history.
Yew has long been valued for its durability, distinctive grain, and deep connection with natural landscapes. Combined with the ammonite design, this pendant celebrates the relationship between organic materials, fossils, and the passage of geological time.
