Mixed Wood Offcuts Box – Random Craft, Modelling & Maker’s Scrap

A large box of assorted wood offcuts, reclaimed from my own workshop and given a second chance rather than being sent to waste.

The contents are deliberately random. Pieces may vary in wood species, colour, grain, thickness, length, width, shape, and type of cut. Some are remnants from larger woodworking projects, some are pieces left from laser work, and others are simply small sections of timber that are too useful to throw away but too small for my usual projects.

This isn’t a carefully matched selection — it’s a genuine box of workshop leftovers for makers who enjoy working with whatever they find.

Ideas for Using Your Offcuts

These pieces can be useful for model making, miniature projects, sculpture, craft experiments, pyrography, jewellery making, artistic assemblage, props, prototypes, educational projects, altar or ritual work, kindling for appropriate outdoor use, and all those little emergency jobs where a small piece of wood suddenly becomes exactly what you need.

They’re also handy for campers and outdoor makers looking for small pieces of timber for practical, non-structural uses.

Most importantly, they’re an opportunity to experiment without cutting into a beautiful piece of good timber just to try an idea.

Why I’m Selling Them

I’m having a workshop clear-out and sorting through my own material boxes. Rather than throwing useful pieces away, I’m passing them on to other makers who might see potential in something that no longer has a place in my studio.

What is an offcut to one maker can be the starting point for someone else’s project.

Some pieces may show saw marks, laser marks, previous handling, natural defects, knots, bark, or other workshop characteristics.
