A compact handmade pendulum board crafted from reclaimed sweet chestnut wood, featuring a layered sacred geometry design incorporating the Seed of Life, Flower of Life and Metatron-inspired geometric pattern.
The board is made from two pieces of sweet chestnut joined together with wood glue, creating a thicker, more substantial board while making use of smaller pieces of timber that would otherwise be difficult to use. The wood came from a mixed offcuts box purchased from a woodturner’s mill as part of my ongoing effort to reduce material waste within my studio.
The natural character of the chestnut remains visible throughout, with variations in grain, colour and markings adding to the individuality of each board.
The central geometric design creates a focused visual field for pendulum work, reflection or personal practice. Around it is a traditional semi-circle alphabet from A–Z, a 0–10 number sequence
The layout is designed to provide a straightforward starting point for those exploring pendulum work while leaving plenty of room for you to develop your own method of using the board.
Each board is individually finished by hand with a natural blend of walnut oil and beeswax, bringing out the warmth of the sweet chestnut and giving the surface a smooth, tactile finish.
A braided twine cord is fitted through a drilled corner hole, allowing the board to be hung for storage or display when not in use.
Its compact size makes it particularly suited to travel, small spaces, van life, retreats, or anyone who prefers a portable spiritual practice.
