Born from the ancient hills of Wales, these crushed Preseli Bluestone chips are remnants of my carving process — the same rock type as the inner circle stones of Stonehenge. Every vial contains fragments of history and myth, hand-collected and repurposed in my studio to ensure that nothing from this sacred material is wasted.
Though too small for full carvings, these chips retain the energetic and geological essence of Preseli — making them ideal for jewellery inlay, crystal grids, ritual offerings, spellwork, or as a unique collector’s specimen in their own right.
Each 15 ml glass vial is filled by hand and sealed securely, ready for your next creative or spiritual project.

🪶 Spirit & Significance
Preseli Bluestone carries the deep resonance of ancestral connection, grounding, and intuition.
Long associated with Stonehenge, it’s believed to link to earth energy lines (ley lines) and acts as a stone of memory and focus — helping one tune into ancient wisdom and natural rhythm.
Working with even small chips allows that same frequency to flow through your craft or altar space — perfect for ritual grounding, ancestral veneration, or earth-energy work.

🌍 Geology & Science
Preseli Bluestone (Dolerite)
• Composition: Plagioclase feldspar, pyroxene, minor quartz
• Rock Type: Igneous (dolerite / microgabbro)
• Origin: Preseli Hills, Pembrokeshire, Wales
• Hardness: ~6.5 Mohs
• Texture: Fine- to medium-grained, often with white or green feldspar inclusions
• Structure: Interlocking crystalline matrix, extremely durable
Geologically, this stone formed from ancient magma intrusions around 480 million years ago, later shaped by glacial and human movement — the same formations that supplied Stonehenge’s iconic monoliths.
Your vial holds those same minerals and time-worn crystals — a tangible connection between ancient geology and living craft.
