Oak Bumblebee Pendant – Laser Cut Illustration Necklace (Reclaimed Wood, Walnut Oil & Beeswax Finish)
This oak wood pendant features an original bumblebee illustration, laser cut and engraved from one of my own designs. Each piece is made using reclaimed oak offcuts sourced from a wood turning blanks supplier, giving new life to material left over from their production process. This approach reduces waste while maintaining high-quality hardwood suitable for detailed work.
Each pendant is carefully finished by hand and sealed with a natural blend of walnut oil and beeswax, enhancing the grain of the wood while protecting and nourishing the surface.
The design captures the character and movement of the bumblebee in a clean, detailed line style, combining modern laser precision with traditional natural materials. The result is a lightweight, wearable pendant that feels both contemporary and rooted in organic craftsmanship.
A small brass screw eye is fitted at the top, providing a secure and durable attachment point for the cord while adding a subtle contrast against the warm tones of the oak.
