Sweet Chestnut Wood Geometric Earrings – Handmade Natural Wood Jewellery
These handmade earrings feature natural sweet chestnut wood discs, individually shaped, drilled, and finished before being decorated with an original geometric design created by the artist.
The design combines influences from several sacred geometry patterns, bringing together elements inspired by forms such as the Seed of Life, Flower of Life, and Metatron’s Cube into a unique contemporary pattern.
Each wooden disc has been carefully prepared using Dremel work and hand sanding, allowing the natural character of the wood grain to remain part of the finished piece.
The earrings are finished with stainless steel sleeper hoop findings and jump rings, creating a lightweight and comfortable design suitable for everyday wear.
About Sweet Chestnut Wood
Sweet chestnut has a long history within traditional woodworking due to its strength, durability, and attractive natural grain. Used throughout Britain and Europe for centuries in construction, furniture, carving, and crafts, it is a material with a strong connection to traditional making.
Each piece of wood carries its own unique markings, grain patterns, and natural variations.
About the Geometric Design
Sacred geometry explores the relationship between mathematical forms, patterns found in nature, art, and symbolism across cultures.
This original design combines several geometric influences into a modern interpretation, creating a wearable piece that connects natural material with contemporary artwork.
