This rectangular New Zealand Pounamu (nephrite jade) pendant combines craftsmanship with untouched natural beauty. The sides have been lightly faceted to highlight the stone’s rich green tones, while the bottom has been left completely raw — a live edge that tells the story of the stone’s natural formation. This balance between polished and unworked surfaces makes the pendant both refined and deeply organic, carrying the presence of the whenua (land) it was born from.

Pounamu, also known as New Zealand greenstone or nephrite jade, is treasured in Māori culture as a stone of strength, protection, and connection.
