Welsh Slate Sacred Geometry Incense Holder & Crystal Grid – Handmade Spiritual Home Décor
This handmade piece began life as a Welsh slate offcut sourced from a collection of surplus and second-grade materials from a slate workshop. While not suitable for its original intended purpose, the slate has been given a second life as a functional and decorative spiritual tool.
The surface has been sealed with a clear protective lacquer before being laser engraved with an original geometric design created by the artist. The design combines several well-known sacred geometry motifs, including influences from the Seed of Life, Flower of Life, and Metatron’s Cube, brought together into a unique composition.
A central hole allows the piece to be used as an incense holder, while the flat surface also lends itself to use as a crystal grid, altar decoration, meditation aid, or display piece.
Felt pads have been added to the underside to help protect surfaces during use.
About Welsh Slate
Welsh slate has been quarried for centuries and is renowned for its durability, distinctive appearance, and cultural significance. Formed over hundreds of millions of years through geological processes, slate has long been used in architecture, craftsmanship, and decorative arts.
Each piece displays its own natural textures, colour variations, and markings formed through its geological history.
About Sacred Geometry
Sacred geometry is a term used to describe geometric patterns and forms that have appeared throughout art, architecture, philosophy, and spiritual traditions across many cultures.
Designs such as the Seed of Life, Flower of Life, and Metatron’s Cube are often explored as visual representations of interconnectedness, balance, structure, and the patterns found throughout nature.
This piece combines elements of several traditional geometric systems into a unique contemporary design.
