Ash Wood Norse Rune Pendulum Board
Viking Horse Design | Hanging Divination Board
A handcrafted ash wood pendulum board, laser engraved with a striking Norse horse design at its centre, inspired by a piece of jewellery seen at the National Museum of Iceland in Reykjavík.
This design draws on Nordic symbolism and traditional rune aesthetics, creating a board that works beautifully as both a divination tool and a display piece.
⸻
ᚠ Rune & Guidance Layout
The outer ring features a full circle of Norse rune symbols, giving the board a strong Viking-inspired identity and allowing for additional intuitive reading work.
The inner guidance ring includes:
• Yes
• No
• Maybe
• Rephrase
• Unknown
• Can’t Answer
• Hello
• Goodbye
This makes it ideal for pendulum work, spirit board-style divination, and symbolic readings.
⸻
🐎 Symbolism
The horse in Norse and wider spiritual symbolism is often linked with:
• strength
• movement
• freedom
• journeys
• power and endurance
Combined with the rune ring, it becomes a strong symbol of guidance, fate, and movement through life’s path.

🌳 Materials & Finish
• natural ash wood slice
• laser engraved Norse horse centrepiece

⸻
🪝 Practical Use
The attached braided jute cord allows the board to be hung neatly out of the way when not in use, making it easy to store or display as part of an altar or wall space.
🌿 Nourished Finish
Each board has been conditioned with a protective blend of beeswax, vitamin E oil, and lavender oil to help nourish the wood, enhance the natural grain, and reduce future drying or cracking.
Ingredients are locally sourced from Bray’s Bees, supporting local businesses and giving the piece a soft natural finish.
