Pounamu

 

  • Tumbled Aotearoa - Born from the rivers and mountains of Aotearoa, these tumbled pieces of pounamu carry the quiet hum of the land itself. Each stone is rescued from the offcuts of other carvers reshaped, re-drilled, and given a new story in my Chatham studio. They’re simple, tactile reminders that nothing is ever truly wasted; even the smallest stone still holds mana and memory.
  • Pounamu Noa - The Noa collection sits between the raw and the refined stone that carries its natural fractures, weathered skin, and the spirit of the earth it came from. I carve each piece by hand, keeping just enough of its wild edge to honour where it’s been. These are not perfect stones, but real ones: grounded, ancient, and quietly powerful.
  • Aroha Aotearoa - Aroha Aotearoa is my way of paying respect to the traditions that shaped Polynesian carving forms born from ocean, sky, and story. Each piece is made in my studio with care and intention, blending ancestral design with a modern hand. They’re made to be worn close, to remind you that connection to people, to place, to spirit is a living thing.
