This one-of-a-kind pendant is part of my experimental collection, offered at a lower cost due to its unique, trial-based design. Crafted from an oak strut repurposed from a whiskey barrel, the pendant still retains some of its original whiskey scent, adding a rich history to the piece.
At the heart of the design is a constellation of Canis Major, featuring copper pins carefully embedded into drilled holes in the wood. The constellation’s most prominent star, Sirius A, is highlighted in this celestial arrangement, held securely in place with UV resin.
The rectangular pendant is carved and finished with the same care as my other works, sealed with a combination of linseed oil and Brays Bees wax polish to enhance the natural beauty of the oak wood.
