Some pendants are perfectly shaped. This one is perfectly real.
Hand-carved from authentic New Zealand Pounamu (nephrite jade), this rectangular pendant is smooth and polished on all sides — except for the base. Here, the stone’s live edge has been left untouched, preserving a natural crack line and the original texture of the raw slab.
It’s a small but powerful reminder: we don’t have to be flawless to be strong.

The Stone
Pounamu is treasured in Māori culture as a taonga — an object carrying mana (prestige, power, and spirit). For centuries, it’s been worn as a protective talisman, passed down through generations, gaining strength and significance the longer it is held close to the body.

Symbolism
• Rectangular form – Stability, clarity, and direction in life
• Live edge – Honouring the untouched beauty of nature, resilience through imperfection
• Greenstone’s mana – Protection, grounding, and deep connection to Aotearoa’s whenua (land) and whakapapa (ancestry)
⸻
